Ellen is originally from Michigan and has lived on Big Island since 2005. Her reason for moving to Hawaii, a place she had never been, was a combination of courage and a thirst for adventure. As a result, she has acquired a vast knowledge of the Hawaiian islands and culture.
As an ambitious student, she graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2015 with two degrees: a Bachelor's of Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Science. In tandem, she obtained a Specialty in Tropical Horticulture, as well as Plant Science and Agro-Ecology. She was recognized on the Dean's list for her agricultural studies. She also achieved a Plant Tissue Culture Certificate, Beekeeping Certificate, and her Realtor's license. Ellen is passionate about her continuous pursuit of personal growth and development.
Ellen attained her Realtor's license in 2015. In 2016, she became an alumni of Hawaii Association of Realtor’s Leadership Academy. She was nominated for and volunteers on the Board of Directors for Hawaii Island Realtors. In 2017, Ellen achieved Diamond Status with Elite and was awarded “Best Client Service” for Elite Pacific Properties Big Island agents. She is intelligent, vivacious, disciplined, operates in an ethical manner, and always has her client's best interest at heart. She is known for exceeding her client’s expectations.
When she's not working with clients at Elite Pacific Properties, Ellen enjoys adventuring around the island, hiking, swimming, canoeing in Hilo Bay, spending time with family, walking her puppies in Liliuokalani Gardens, and diving into a good book. Ellen, who embraces the spirit of aloha and strongly believes in giving back to the 'aina, has volunteered over 100 hours with the Hawaii Department of Agriculture's Apiary team.
