Your Kona Connection
Big Island Real Estate Agent
Live the Life you Love
I can’t wait to share my love of the Big Island. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and first visited Hawaii in 1965. I could not believe the weather and warm ocean water. It was my dream come true. I visited many times and decided to move to the Big Island in 1984.
My husband was a Realtor in California and he prompted me to get started in real estate right away. I was a full time licensed salesman in 1985 and received my Broker’s License in 1987. My first assignment was a new home development project in Kailua Kona (Kuakini Makai). I enjoyed working with people and helping them find their dream property and knew this was the life for me. A few years later I worked on a couple of other new condo projects (The Shores at Waikoloa and The Greens at Waikoloa). With lots of hard work, I have always been a Top Producer.
We have experienced building several homes over the years and renovated a few, so we have the knowledge to help others with the process.
I love the ocean and became an oceanfront specialist, having sold many oceanfront condos, homes and land. I want to help people find what they want because there are so many variables on the Big Island.
The most important thing about buying a home is to know what elevation they desire. The climate is very important for a person’s well being. They may want a cooler elevation or dry, warm climate. The Big Island has it all.
Condos are very diverse also. Every complex has different rules and the fees can vary greatly. Some condos allow vacation rentals (daily or weekly) and some condos are rented by the month only. These are important factors to consider and I can guide you with my extensive 30 years of experience.
My real estate education has continued over the years. I earned my GRI (Graduate Residential Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist – awarded to only 10% of Realtors nationwide). I got involved with Feng Shui and took classes to receive my PCI (Property Image Consultant) to assist sellers with staging their homes when they are ready to sell. I have also inspired a few clients to get their real estate license and helped them through the process.
In addition to my experience, my husband, Howard Bradley, is my partner in business. We offer two agents on all transactions, so one or both of us is always available. Howard is a land expert and willing to go the extra mile to hike wooded parcels to scope out the view or boundaries.
I want to share my experience and love of the Big Island with everyone who has a desire to live in Hawaii.
